Bachelor of Environment and Society (Environmental Studies) and the Bachelor of Environment and Society (Environmental Sciences) programs are designed to prepare Arts and Science students for careers in cross-cultural environments through a combination of in-class learning, fieldwork, and community projects. After completing a set of core courses, upper-year students can specialize in topics such as climate change, adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity and conservation, and urban sustainability.

The programs will also offer a regional-specific educational experience with opportunities for studio learning and place-based practice through partners such as the Átl'ka7tsem/Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative. The programs will officially launch in Fall 2025.
